Texas Water comes home…to Denmark

Over several years, I photographed Texas water—fresh streams flowing over limestone, reflecting light and landscape. Now, bringing these images back to Denmark, I am reminded of something universal: no matter where we stand — Texas or Denmark, desert or sea — we are part of the same global waters.

Perhaps I found something in these waters that reflected the death of stars lightyears away whose sparkle has traveled eons on time from galaxies and cosmos giving us a sense of eternity. Something as amazing as fresh water drew me back again and again over the years with camera in hand stooping down focusing on the thin membrane of water. I beheld a vision into a treasure chest of bejeweled water ever changing just like us and not so far away that I need a telescope.

I like to think that all the answers to our personal quests are not out there but right here in front of us.
